Step into a world of winter magic at our Constantly Evolving Winter Wonderland Retreat. After an unforgettable experience in Sweden, we’re heading to Vals, Switzerland, home to one of the most breathtaking thermal spas and architectural masterpieces in the world!
The Destination: Hotel 7132
Stay at the legendary Hotel 7132, formerly known as Therme Vals, featuring The House of Architects, designed by four visionary masters: Peter Zumthor, Tadao Ando, Kengo Kuma, and Thom Mayne. Their combined genius has created a sanctuary of minimalism, elegance, and tranquility.
The Experience
Whether you’re a skier or not, Vals offers something magical for everyone.
Skiers: Enjoy pristine, uncrowded slopes at fair prices.
Non-skiers: Ice skate, sled, take alpine walks, or ride the cable cars through stunning snow-covered peaks.
And of course, the Therme Baths. Bathe in healing mineral waters drawn from the St. Peter spring, relax in the architectural masterpiece of Peter Zumthor, and even enjoy exclusive night swims under the stars.
Our Practice:
Each morning and select early evenings, we’ll train together, balancing strength, recovery, and mindfulness. The afternoons are yours to explore, unwind, or simply be. This retreat is designed to be accessible, inspiring, and unforgettable. The perfect balance of training and play.
The Village of Vals:
Between its iconic architecture, cozy restaurants, and peaceful alpine charm, Vals is the perfect winter escape. From nature to design, every moment here nourishes the soul.
Package:
Based on double occupancy per person (if you prefer a different room listed on the website, we can arrange that).
Ando $3470
Tadao Ando's architecture borrows from Japanese tradition and combines it with modernist influences. He thereby developed an entirely novel art of building in which concrete, timber, light, space, and nature interact in unique ways. In Vals, he decided to pay homage to the subtle aesthetics of Japanese tea houses. His 18 rooms radiate a soothing tranquility and direct the eyes of those who stay here toward the alpine scenery of the mountainside across from them.
Kuma $3570
Landscape, light, air and water play a fundamental role in his designs. Signature creations of Kengo Kuma tend to be enormous structures of timber, steel and stone, such as the “Victoria & Albert Museum” in the Scottish port city of Dundee. In Vals, he created 23 cosy cocoons at the 7132 House of Architects that are inspired by the perfection of traditional Japanese artisanal carpentry, and that seem to embrace you with their oak panels. He also designed three penthouse suites at the 7132 Hotel with a private dining room. The fully glazed fronts admit the breathtaking view into the interior much in the manner of a painting.
Based on single occupancy per person:
Ando $4950
